Kingdra is a powerful Water/Dragon-type Pokémon introduced in Generation II. This majestic sea creature resembles a large seahorse with a tightly curled tail and is covered in blue scales, except for its yellow belly. Kingdra possesses incredible strength, capable of creating massive whirlpools and sea-born tornadoes with its movements. It typically inhabits extreme ocean depths where no other life forms can survive, building up energy by sleeping in underwater caves. When storms arrive, Kingdra is said to awaken and search for prey near the surface. The yawn of a sleeping Kingdra is so powerful that it can generate undercurrents strong enough to destroy small ships. Kingdra is known to engage in fierce battles with Dragonite whenever they encounter each other. Its scales are highly prized for their splendorous gleam and are often given as gifts to royalty.
