Hitmonlee is a Fighting-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Known as the Kicking Pokémon, it is renowned for its incredible leg strength and flexibility. Hitmonlee's legs can freely contract and stretch, allowing it to extend its reach and deliver devastating kicks to its opponents. These springlike legs enable Hitmonlee to run with long, loping strides and execute a wide variety of powerful kicking techniques.
This humanoid Pokémon has an ovoid body with almond-shaped eyes and lacks a distinct neck and head. It has a primarily brown coloration with cream-colored, segmented arms and legs. Hitmonlee's feet have three clawed toes, and its ankles feature circular, yellow pads that contribute to its kicking prowess.
Hitmonlee is an exclusively male species and is known for its exceptional sense of balance, allowing it to kick in succession from any position. After intense battles, it rubs down its legs to relax the tight muscles and overcome fatigue. Hitmonlee is rarely found in the wild and is more commonly seen in urban areas.
