Exeggcute is a unique Grass/Psychic-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It resembles a cluster of six light pink eggs, each with a distinct facial expression. Despite its egg-like appearance, Exeggcute is more closely related to plant seeds and is believed to carry genes from both plants and other species. The six "eggs" communicate with each other using telepathy that only they can understand. Exeggcute is known for its ability to quickly gather if separated, maintaining a group of six to stay balanced and avoid becoming nervous or cowardly.
One of the most intriguing features of Exeggcute is that one member of the cluster usually has its yellow insides or brain exposed. The presence of more numerous cracks on the shells indicates that Exeggcute is close to evolution. In the wild, Exeggcute inhabits jungles and forests, where it uses psychokinesis to chase off natural predators like Pidgeotto and Crabrawler.

Evolutions
Exeggcute evolves into Exeggutor when exposed to a Leaf Stone. In the Alola region, Exeggcute evolves into Alolan Exeggutor, a Grass/Dragon-type variant, when exposed to a Leaf Stone.
Habits and Additions Across Generations
Exeggcute in the Alola region tend to be heavier than those from other regions, with their shells being packed full. If the number of Exeggcute in a group is reduced to less than six, the remaining members will attempt to replace the missing one with a similarly sized Pokémon. This behavior was showcased in the Pikachu short "Pikachu's Rescue Adventure". Exeggcute and its evolved form, Exeggutor, are the only known Pokémon capable of learning the move Barrage.
