Vaporeon is a Water-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It evolves from Eevee when exposed to a Water Stone. Vaporeon's body structure is unique, composed of cellular units similar to water molecules, allowing it to melt and become invisible in water. This ability enables Vaporeon to camouflage itself while swimming, making it an excellent ambush predator for fish Pokémon. Its long, sleek tail is often mistaken for a mermaid's, which may have contributed to mermaid folklore.

Vaporeon has developed gills to better adapt to aquatic environments and possesses the remarkable ability to freely control water. Its fins can detect moisture and vibrate to predict incoming rain. In battle, Vaporeon is known for its high HP and special stats, making it an excellent defensive Water-type Pokémon. It can learn a variety of powerful Water-type moves and support moves, making it a versatile team member.
