Tauros is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Known as the Wild Bull Pokémon, Tauros is a powerful and aggressive creature with a muscular body and three whip-like tails. It is famous for its violent nature and tendency to charge at full speed towards its opponents. Tauros is a male-only species and is considered to be a counterpart of Miltank.
In the Paldea region, Tauros has three different regional forms: Combat Breed (pure Fighting-type), Blaze Breed (Fighting/Fire-type), and Aqua Breed (Fighting/Water-type). These regional variants showcase Tauros's adaptability to different environments and battle styles.
Tauros is known for its impressive stamina and strength. It often whips itself into a frenzy using its three tails before charging at its target. Once it starts running, Tauros is unable to stop or change direction until it hits something, which can include large boulders. This Pokémon lives and travels in herds on plains and grasslands, with the herd's protector taking pride in its battle-scarred horns.
