Primeape is a Fighting-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is the evolved form of Mankey, transforming at level 28. Known for its perpetual fury, Primeape is easily angered and will relentlessly chase anyone who provokes it. Its rage is so intense that some researchers believe it remains angry even while inside a Poké Ball. Primeape's fury actually boosts its blood circulation, making its muscles stronger but reducing its intelligence.

Interestingly, Primeape's brain has sturdier blood vessels compared to other Pokémon, allowing it to maintain its health despite constant raging. In extreme cases, Primeape's anger can lead to its death, though its face appears peaceful in death. Primeape is known for its tenacity, never forgiving opponents who have angered it, even after beating them down.
