Nidorina is a quadrupedal, poison-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is the evolved form of the female Nidoran and can further evolve into Nidoqueen when exposed to a Moon Stone. Nidorina has a distinctive sky-blue coloration with darker blue patches on its body. It possesses large, spiny ears and two pointed teeth protruding from its upper jaw. One of Nidorina's most notable features is its ability to retract the large poison spikes on its body, which it does when around friends, family, or while resting.
Known for its gentle temperament, Nidorina is a caring mother that chews food into a paste before feeding it to its young. It emits ultrasonic cries that can befuddle foes, showcasing its defensive capabilities. Interestingly, Nidorina cannot breed, despite being the middle evolution in its line. This unique trait sets it apart from many other Pokémon.
