Marowak is a Ground-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is the evolved form of Cubone, transforming at level 28. Marowak is known as the Bone Keeper Pokémon, famous for its skill in wielding a bone as a formidable weapon. This Pokémon has overcome the grief of losing its mother and grown tough, developing a tempered and hardened spirit that is not easily broken. Marowak's most distinctive feature is the skull it wears, which was once its mother's skull and has now fused to its head, becoming an integral part of its body.
In battle, Marowak throws its bone like a boomerang with remarkable accuracy, using it to knock out opponents. Despite its small size, Marowak's body is as sturdy as armor, allowing it to withstand powerful attacks. Interestingly, Marowak has been observed pounding boulders with its bone club to tap out messages to others of its kind. In Alola, a regional variant of Marowak exists, which is a Fire/Ghost-type and known for its ability to manipulate and control fire.
