This Pokémon is known for its free and uncaring nature, not minding if pieces of its body break off while rolling, as it can restore itself over time.
Graveler's diet consists primarily of rocks, with a particular preference for moss-covered ones. It can consume over a ton of rocks daily, making loud crunching noises while eating. This unique diet contributes to Graveler's growth and the development of its rocky exterior. Interestingly, Graveler will climb mountains from base to summit, feasting on rocks along the way, and upon reaching the peak, it rolls back down to the bottom.
In the Alola region, Graveler has a regional variant that is a dual-type Rock/Electric Pokémon. Alolan Graveler feeds on a mineral called dravite, which creates yellow crystals on its body and grants it electrical abilities. These Alolan Graveler are known for their quick-tempered personality and their tendency to fight with others over food.

Habits
Graveler is often found rolling down mountain trails and slopes. It is known to make its home in horizontal holes gouged out of sheer cliff faces. When descending mountains, Graveler can be quite brutal, smashing aside obstructing trees and massive boulders with thunderous tackles. In Alola, Graveler often gets into fights with others over food, and when two Graveler smash together, it creates a flash of light and a booming sound, leading people to call it the "fireworks of the earth".
