Arbok is a serpentine Pokémon that resembles a cobra, known for its intimidating hood pattern and venomous bite. This Poison-type Pokémon was introduced in Generation I and evolves from Ekans at level 22. Arbok's most distinctive feature is the frightening face-like pattern on its hood, which can have over 20 possible variations depending on its habitat. This pattern serves to intimidate foes, often causing weaker opponents to flee at the mere sight of it.
Arbok possesses incredible constricting power, capable of flattening even steel oil drums with its body. Once it wraps around its prey, escape is nearly impossible. It hunts by using the pattern on its hood to immobilize its target before constricting and poisoning it. Arbok is highly territorial and vengeful, known for its tenacity in chasing prey or opponents, no matter how far they go.
Recent research has revealed that Arbok can regrow parts of its body if they are severed, excluding the head. It's also known to make eerie sounds by expelling air from its mouth to further intimidate its foes. Arbok primarily inhabits grassy savannas and plains but can also be found in forests and desolate wastelands.
