Misdreavus is a Ghost-type Pokémon introduced in Generation 2. Known as the Screech Pokémon, it is a small, ghostly creature with a mischievous nature. Misdreavus has a dark bluish-green body with no visible arms or legs, and its lower half resembles a ruffled dress. It has long, flowing lilac-tipped "hair" and large red eyes with yellow sclerae. Around its neck are five red gems that play a crucial role in its behavior and abilities.
This Pokémon is notorious for its love of frightening people and absorbing their fear as nourishment. It uses its red spheres to absorb the fearful feelings of its victims and convert them into energy. Misdreavus is primarily nocturnal, spending its days sleeping in darkness and its nights engaging in mischievous activities.
Interestingly, Misdreavus can use its "hair" as if they were hands, grasping objects and other Pokémon. In Generation 9, a Paradox Pokémon called Flutter Mane was discovered, bearing a striking resemblance to Misdreavus. This connection adds an intriguing layer to Misdreavus's lore and evolutionary history.
