Meganium is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It is the final evolution of Chikorita, evolving from Bayleef at level 32. This quadrupedal, pale-green reptilian Pokémon resembles a sauropod dinosaur and stands at 5'11" (1.8 m) tall, weighing 221.6 lbs (100.5 kg). Meganium's most distinctive feature is the large, pink flower petals encircling its neck, which have a yellow central pattern and white edges.

The fragrance emitted by Meganium's flower petals has remarkable properties. It can soothe and calm aggressive emotions, making Meganium an effective peacemaker. In battle, Meganium releases more of this becalming scent to blunt its opponent's fighting spirit. Additionally, Meganium's breath has the extraordinary ability to revive dead grass and plants, restoring them to health.

Meganium possesses two stamen-like antennae on top of its snout, which are shorter on females than on males. It has three claws on each foot and a stubby tail. In Pokémon Sleep, it's noted that many Pokémon tend to sleep peacefully side-by-side with Meganium due to its soothing fragrance.
