Machop is a Fighting-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is a humanoid, bipedal creature with blue-gray skin and three brown ridges on top of its head. Despite its small size, comparable to a human child, Machop possesses incredible strength, capable of easily throwing 100 adult humans. Its entire body is composed of special muscles that never tire or cramp, allowing it to engage in intense physical training without fatigue.

Known as the Superpower Pokémon, Machop constantly seeks to improve its abilities through rigorous training. It often exercises by lifting Graveler repeatedly as if they were barbells, and some Machop even travel the world to master various martial arts. This dedication to training is reflected in its daily routine of lifting boulders to strengthen its entire body.

Machop's strength continues to grow as it trains, with some specimens capable of hefting and throwing multiple Geodude simultaneously. Its muscles are so well-developed that they allow Machop to lift many times its own body weight. Interestingly, Machop's diet consists of highly nutritious food that efficiently builds up its muscles, driven by its instinct to become stronger.
