Mewtwo is a powerful Psychic-type Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It was created by scientists through genetic manipulation of Mew's DNA, resulting in a creature with immense psychic abilities. Standing at 6'7" (2.0 m) tall and weighing 269 lbs (122.0 kg), Mewtwo has a humanoid yet feline appearance with a light gray body, purple eyes, and a long, purple tail. It possesses extraordinary mental capabilities, including telepathy, telekinesis, and the power to create powerful storms. Mewtwo is known for its savage heart and lack of compassion, a result of the experiments that created it.

Interestingly, Mewtwo has two Mega Evolutions: Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y, which further enhance its already formidable abilities. In the Pokémon Adventures manga, it's revealed that Mewtwo's creation involved human cells due to insufficient Mew cells, establishing a unique connection with the scientist Blaine.
