Pinsir is a Bug-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I. Known as the Stag Beetle Pokémon, it is renowned for its incredible strength and powerful pincers. These pincers, located on top of its head, are capable of crushing objects twice its own weight and can even shatter thick logs. Pinsir's body is segmented and dull brown in color, with a pair of gray, spiky pincers adorning its head.

This Pokémon is known for its aggressive nature and hunting tactics. It uses its pincers to grip prey tightly, often tearing them in half or tossing them far away if unable to crush them. Pinsir's mouth contains many long, flat teeth arranged horizontally, and it has triangular eyes that can perceive color to some degree, with a particular attraction to green.

Interestingly, Pinsir's movements become sluggish in cold temperatures, causing it to burrow underground or hide deep in forests during chilly periods. In the Alola region, Pinsir is known to engage in territorial disputes with Vikavolt, while surprisingly getting along well with Heracross.

While Pinsir does not evolve, it can Mega Evolve into Mega Pinsir using the Pinsirite. In its Mega form, it gains the ability to fly and becomes even more powerful, capable of lifting opponents up to 10 times its own weight.
